Are the calls coming from places you actually serve?
A call across town is only useful if your crew can take the job. Make it easy for a homeowner to work out whether to contact you.
By Aaptly · For the people who keep homes running.
01Know this
Your service area should match the real business
Google lets service-area businesses specify the cities, postal codes or other areas they serve. If customers do not visit your business address, Google says to remove that address from the public profile.
Adding more areas is not a promise of better rankings. Start with the places you can reliably cover.
02Before the next job
Give your team a better starting point
Confirm where you go.
Send your website and profile manager the areas you serve and any limits, such as emergency work offered only within a smaller area.
Say which jobs you take.
An HVAC business might distinguish repair, replacement and routine maintenance. A roofer might clarify whether small repairs are available.
Explain the estimate.
Tell homeowners whether the next step is a callback or a site visit. Have your team ask for the job type and location before offering a time.
