How long does setup take?
The basic workspace is quick: services, hours, providers, booking page, and payment rules. Voice AI setup takes more care because it needs your policies, escalation rules, and call behavior to be correct.
Do I need a credit card to start?
You can start setup before committing. Paid AI receptionist and payment features require the right plan and payment configuration before they are live for customers.
Can I bring my own domain?
Yes. Use ours to start (yourbusiness.aaptly.com) and point your own domain anytime from Settings.
How do payments work?
We use Stripe Connect. If a business has not connected payments or has disabled payment collection for a service, the AI should not offer payment-taking behavior for that flow.
What should the AI not handle?
Anything outside the configured tools, policies, or safety boundaries should be escalated or captured for follow-up. The AI should know your services, schedule, forms, payment rules, and FAQs — not improvise medical, legal, or pricing decisions that were never configured.
Is my client data safe?
